Colleen A. Harrington Principal
Advocating for their legal rights for almost 25 years, Colleen has been representing clients in the area of civil litigation including, but not limited to, family law, personal injury lawsuits and contract disputes. She is well-regarded by the legal community and respected by those she represents. A graduate of Washington State University and the University of San Francisco Law School, Colleen has been a principal of the firm since 1994.
 
Dedicated to both her legal practice and her community, Colleen has had a long history of service to both the Washington State and Idaho State Bar Associations, as well as to local charitable organizations.
 
Colleen has served as the WSBA Litigation Section Chairperson following a long tenure on the section’s executive committee. She is a charter member of the WSBA Local Rules Task Force. She has contributed to the Bar’s Trial Manual and the Washington State Civil Procedure Deskbook. In October 2009, she was awarded the WSBA’s Local Hero Award for her "outstanding service to the Bar and the residents of Whitman County."
 
Her service to the Bar Association in Idaho has included a term as President of the Ray McNichols Inn of Court, in the Second Judicial District and volunteering to grade bar examinations.
 
In her community, Colleen is well-known for her volunteer activities. She is the President of the Pullman Chamber of Commerce for 2010-2011. She received the Pullman Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame, Modern Category Award in 2010. Colleen has been involved for years with the Whitman County Humane Society, and was on the Board of Directors when AnimalHaven, the Society’s new adoption facility, was built. Colleen has served on the board of directors and as the President of Pullman United Way. 

For the last ten years, Colleen has been an adjunct professor at the University of Idaho Law School, lecturing in such classes as Lawyering Process, Trial Skills and Community Property. She is frequently asked by the Dean of the Law School to give a presentation on professional ethics. Colleen brings her love and enthusiasm of the law to her students.
